Chess Board

It seemed as though it was the perfect time to make a chess board. With the chess craze starting because of a certain show (wink wink ;) we thought it’d be a fun challenge to create a board with some sustainable and long lasting materials. Amongst the other ways we can reduce waste in our lives, purchasing items that are built to last a long time can get rid of the need to replace them! This board was created with longevity in mind, the pieces are made of steel, the board of steel and leather. These materials not only last for years but weather gracefully, showing their age but expressing their life!
